UPDATE #3: One of my newest mounts, which I've had for a little over a week, just broke while driving. I don't think they are really meant for heavy phones. It's time to find the best product. UPDATE #2: So now both mounts have pretty much gone the way of the dinosaurs. but I ordered another pair. Because, well. At just over $10 for two of these, which I need for both work and personal use, it really isn't that bad for almost a year's worth of use. If THESE don't last more than a few months I'll try another item. UPDATE: A little over two months later and one of them is no longer working properly. The clip spring is "blunt" and no longer holds onto the fan. Definitely should have deducted a few stars for that. I've tried several phone mounts on the dashboard and air vents, but none of them worked due to the increased battery in my LG V20. One of the dash mounts even permanently disfigured my dashboard. THIS mount is PERFECT. I'm a part-time driver and it saved me a hell of a lot of frustration! I've been using it all day but I don't see any problems at all. If anything goes wrong, I'll be happy to update this review. At the moment I can absolutely recommend this mount. Incidentally, it was the passenger on the minibus, noticing my struggle, that suggested this to me. I would like to thank them personally.
