When you first started thinking that an extension cord might be the only solution, you surprisingly discovered that there is such a thing as a plug extender. Find out! I was concerned that it might be too heavy to stay on the ceiling where my outlet is, but it's not. I didn't think about buying a plug extender for the USB ports because I completely forgot that my Roku and Firesticks have both USB ports and plugs. Because of the USB ports, I didn't have to use heavier plugs to plug into an outlet extender. This solved the problem and no extra wires hanging from the ceiling! Hooray! Another plus is that you can take it with you when you travel? Why? Have you ever noticed how few outlets are within reach when you're in a hotel? Who wants to crawl under or behind furniture to find that outlet? Not me, and now I do not need!
