I bought this adapter to feed a B6 LiPo charger. I've had good luck with Chanzon in the past, and I'm pleased to say this charger lives up to my expectations. This is a very nice power supply. I used it for an access control system that I recently installed and it provides plenty of power to ensure reliable operation. It is particularly helpful that they include a set screw adapter since I would not have been able to use the barrel connector. Without the set screw adapter I would have had to cut off the barrel connector and use bare leads. That would have worked but it would have made it more difficult to readily identify the polarity of the leads. I

I bought this power supply to replace the shoddy power supply that came with my reloop Mixon 4 DJ controller. All the buzzing and ground loop issues this controller is notorious for are GONE!I bought another one to use with a Lepai T-amp as well and the ground loop issues with the amp are gone too!This power supply is well built and I whole heatedly believe them that it's well shielded.Absolutely 100% recommend this for anything audio related!

Very nice construction. I've been using it all day and its barely warm. Purchased to be able to use a car radio indoors on household current. Just connect the radio power & ground wires to the included +/- adapter ( very nice - not cheap spring loaded like other's I've seen but screw down wire retention) and plug it into the wall. Exactly what I needed. I had purchased the TYCKA Photo Box to be able to take pictures of products I review. Unfortunately the included power supply to run the LED lights was woefully undersized, resulting in a potential fire hazard. Update: I now have 3 of these power supplies (1 on the cameras and 2 on LED strip lighting). The LEDs really loaded one supply down and it got very warm. Driving 40 feet of LEDs, the power supply was running at 54W and 11.7V, not something I wanted to try for the long haul. I'm thinking that 60W rating is a bit optimistic. I bought a couple of other AC to DC adapters that were rated for 5 amps. They were extremely lightweight, and I was highly skeptical of their rated power. Although not a scientific test, I judge these little devices by their weight lol. This one has some weight to it, and it seems to work very well for my application. There is a bit of coil whine with and without load. Tested: 12.3v 0a, 12.0v 3a, 11.7v 6a (voltage within 2.5% @ 0-6a which is quite good)

Does what it should do. As a transformer (not a power supply), it not only converts power from 120V to 12V, but truly converts AC to DC. Typical power supplies lower voltage without equalizing the curvature, so when you connect 12V LED lights to it they flicker 30 times per second, it is very annoying. My Marineland 48" reef LED light strip went out. After researching on line, it was likely that the transformer had failed, that's a common problem. Marineland wanted $70 or so for a 3a replacement. I ordered this 5a replacement for much less, crossed my fingers it would work. I had to use the included adapter since the plug going to the light strip was smaller than the one coming off this power supply. Hooked it up and everything works perfectly.

If you have the reloop mixon 4 You may have ran into some strange electrical issues. The device is going into default mode, a hum on the audio of channel, ect. I’ve had one since March 2017 and periodically it would just go nuts, not sync up with the iPad just do weird things and get completely locked up. This product has worked for me. Handling it felt like I have bought a quality device and it is doing its job. I am using it to drive some powerful LED's. After plugging the device in, it takes three seconds for it to supply power to the device output. But I am ok with that delay since the seller says this device offers additional protection and according to the pictures it seems to be a quality device. I bought one of these over 2 years ago to run some 12v LED lighting and despite being in very frequent use, it's still working fine - so when a different 12v power supply died, I bought another and it's working great - only slightly warm where the old one got hot enough to worry me. There's so many crap power supplies out there it's nice to find one that does what it says and doesn't fall apart shortly after the warranty expires!

Worked perfect for my application! It powers my 12v 3.0 amp device without issue. This is a fairly small transformer, so even though it boasts a 5.0 amp output, I have my doubts it can provide that for any length of time without some serious heat issues. In their defense, it does show a picture of the internal components with #5 being a "cooling" system that appears to be a sheet of thin aluminum for heat dissipation?

Under no load my unit puts out 12.36 volts; this gradually drops as the load increases, reaching 12.00 volts at 3 amps. At the 5 amp rated load the power supply is delivering 11.78 volts. That is 5% regulation from no load to full load, and 2% regulation from the nominal 12 volt output to 11.78 at full load. 5% regulation is respectable; whether that meets your definition of a 12 volt power supply I will leave to you.
