I'm ordering one of these to replace the same model I've had for about 5 years. I've been using it EVERY day for five years. This is my travel backpack, my international travel backpack and the one I use for work. One of the great things about this backpack is that my 15.4 inch laptop fits in this bag and won't fall out even if I forget to close it, which happened a couple of times. This is exactly how the inside of the backpack is arranged. My laptop's dimensions are 14 x 10.5 inches deep. I bet it fits a 17 inch laptop too. It has many different small pockets. Inside the main carriage is a large padded bag that is great for storing breakable items like a digital camera or iTouch. Or both, like me. I'm swapping out because the zipper gets stuck in the main body after about 10,000 zips/unzips. It's not that bad considering the abuse this villain has endured.
