Any lock can be picked with a diamond disc on a grinder, but this one is harder than all the others. It's a big and heavy monster but I use it on my electric bike so the extra weight doesn't really matter to me. Only the most serious thief will try to get past this, but a $6,800 R&M electric bike is likely to garner that kind of interest. I researched bike locks like crazy before deciding on this one. The best advice is to use not one but two U-locks when storing your expensive bike in a high crime area (like New York City). That's more than I can do so I figured I'd just buy the biggest, coolest U-lock ever made and here it is.
