This product is a very light starch, not a starch alternative. I iron many yards of denim each week and this product has all the downsides of starch at a tremendous price. it will flake, burn, etc if you don't handle this product like you would any other starch product. Spray gun - garbage (you can buy a similar spray gun at a hardware store). The mist that settles on the bottle is not a mist at all, it sprays too much product onto the fabric. The instructions say to hold the bottle 12 inches from the fabric when using the mist setting. I had huge drips all over the fabric when spraying from 12 inches away. If you want a real mist of product you may need to spray this starch from 20" away from the fabric (I hope your arm is long enough - I'll have to use a step stool). If you want a real alternative to starch, don't buy this product (there are other real alternatives that are great products - going back to a product I've used for years) and if you want a low starch product, buy You can buy it at your local store for a dollar or two. I feel cheated by this product and will never buy anything from this seller again. I can't even salvage the spray bottle as it's a complete junk.
