I used this as a card case. It is very well suited for this, as it has 11 separate card slots. While I haven't filled it yet, I'm guessing you could fit a few more than 11 cards in if you don't mind the double slot. The wallet is made of beautiful leather and comes in a gift box, which is very suitable for gifting. One of the main reasons I chose this wallet was that it has a zipper to keep my cards safe so none of them fall out. It is referred to as "Front Pocket Wallet" on the listing. I'm sure it would be fine in my front pocket, but I carry it in my back pocket and it works fine there.
