Review on 9 7 Silver Keyboard Backlight: Effortlessly Detachable & Automatic by Rolando Munoz

I really liked this keyboard case. It looked attractive, it had a nice backlight, the keys were responsive, the hinge worked well, and it was easy to detach the keyboard from the iPad when I wanted to use the iPad alone. But there were two major downsides: (1) Many standard iPad keyboard shortcuts didn't work. When I pressed Command-Option-F it printed Command-F, when I pressed Command-Shift-A it printed Command-A and so on. Obviously the keyboard can't recognize more than one modifier key at a time. (2) There were two thin horizontal protrusions in the plastic shell on the back of the iPad (I believe these were injection molded seams). In two weeks of using the keyboard case, each protrusion left a thin horizontal scratch on the back of the iPad. The scratches are barely visible but I think they will get worse over time.
