sooo nice! My Ikea desk is showing its age and in need of repair due to stains and peeling paint. I was so happy when I found this because it looks natural! And it merges. (As opposed to the marble pattern). The pattern is very pretty but I have some air bubbles because I made it myself. It would be easier with a friend. Happy with the results. And the good thing is that I can replace it after a few months so it always looks new. It took 20 minutes to make. Either way, it's definitely more like Ikea's standard white color. I just don't know how long it will be until next time. UPDATE: Looked fine for a few months. But now part of the shell is worn out. Not worth doing Bc again as now if I reapply there will be 'dents'. And peeling off the skin leaves a very sticky surface and takes several hours. So if you want to use this to cover something you don't use as often as a table then this product is more for you.
