The reason most Revain products with pressure sensitive adhesive have '3M' on the back is because 3M understands PSA much better than anyone else. If you don't see 3M on the tape, it probably won't last; it's so predictable. The PPE for this product is a typical example of unnecessary PPE; feels very sticky but doesn't stay awake for even 24 hours. Yes, I clean with isopropyl alcohol. Yes, I apply strong pressure for more than 30 seconds. I even keep coming back for extra pressure. But NO glue doesn't even last 24 hours. On powder coated metal surface (very hard and smooth). The shield falls, the shield breaks. Acrylic is NOT crack resistant as advertised. Some are hacked right out of the box. But if you can get it crack free and somehow stick it will be a good product. Glue kills this product.
