Nice quality product.did not achieve advertised weight

This stand will be an improvement over my previous 19 pound metal stand. More ballast was needed to keep my tilt umbrella stable in windy conditions.however this stand is advertised to weight 50 lbs when filled with water. I weighed it on a scale when full and the weight capped at 43 lbs, not 50. Think capacity should be revised or stand made bigger.

Pros
  • Great for a quick fix for the umbrella. Want to move? Dump out the water, simple.....
Cons
  • I have two free standing bases that don’t stand up in light breezes It works better with a table

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The stand is not flat on bottom so wobbles.

Base wobbles on ground so umbrella leans in various directions. With a high wind, base rolls and umbrella tips over. Inside of umbrella holder is rusting.

Pros
  • Umbrellas & Shade
Cons
  • The base may be more susceptible to damage during transportation or shipping

Solid base. in my review

Missing 1.5” C1 spacer in package. Directions need to show part B steel pole must be driven through Base A. The base may take up too much space on a small patio or deck!

Pros
  • Umbrella Stands & Bases
Cons
  • The base may take up too much space on a small patio or deck

Works just fine. on my review.

Pros: Stable and solidCons: Can't completely drain of water when it's time to put away for the winter. Recommend filling with RV antifreeze and leaving outside.Base tube spins causing umbrella to spin as well. A real problem if you use a tilting umbrella.

Pros
  • The Heavy Duty Water Filled Patio Umbrella Base is a great investment for anyone looking to keep their garden umbrellas securely in place without worrying about tipping over
Cons
  • The base may not be suitable for use in areas with high levels of seismic activity or earthquakes

Hardware and instructions missing!missing an

Nuts missing missing! Could not put the base together. Need a handyman to help. Later: Got handyman who put it together. Nothing missing but decent instructions!

Pros
  • ☂HOLDS VARIOUS UMBRELLA SIZES: Equipped with adjustable piston, a wide range of application, the weighted patio table umbrella stands can be adjusted according to the thickness of the outdoor market umbrella column. The outside patio umbrella pole diameter range: φ1.49" or 1.89".
Cons
  • It may be difficult to find a suitable storage location for the base during the off-season

Will purchase again

This is a great product. It adds stability to the patio umbrella and although heavy when filled with water, it can still be moved as needed.

Pros
  • Weight and material
Cons
  • The water-filled base may not be suitable for use in areas with freezing temperatures

Better than I was expecting !

I was concerned about adding water or sand. I added water because that is what I had. It was very stable and sturdy. I am surprised!

Pros
  • After filling it up which is time consuming this works great!
Cons
  • I had to return because of crack but seemed like it would do the job

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seems ok, not sure how important the missing part is.

Part H was missing from package. Not pictorial on how to use part H. I put stand together without it. Better design would have the pole tightening set screw tighten against a bushing rather than umbrella pole itself. Would make pole more secure and would prevent damage to umbrella pole.

Pros
  • arrived timely in perfect condition
Cons
  • The base may be more expensive than other available options

Works fine in my review

Purchased this to use for my traditional wooden picnic table with a 9 ft umbrella. It's rather large and clunky so it does take up a lot of foot space under the table where a person would sit in the middle. It would definitely work best with a round table imo - because of that. Since we generally don't seat that many people it's just fine for our purposes. It is not fancy - but gets the job done. I filled it with water, screwed on the cap, and stuck the umbrella in it through the hole I drilled

Pros
  • 5.24 pounds
Cons
  • The water-filled base may be more prone to cracking or damage in freezing temperatures

Useless for a tilting umbrella

There is no way to keep the umbrella from swivelling around in the base. The whole setup did not seem very stable. The post that supports the umbrella is very short compared to others I have had. I would not recommend for a tilting umbrella as the wind can catch it and move it around which kind of defeats the purpose of having the tilting ability.

Pros
  • Works well for our 7.5 foot free-standing umbrella.
Cons
  • It may not fit all types of patio umbrellas or poles

Nicely built on my review.

What did it for me was the fill hole is the same size as a garden hose, screwed hose in, filled, done! 3minsThe shaft is separate and secured with a plate on the bottom which is nice, if it should break I can make my own replacement!

Pros
  • no
Cons
  • The water may become stagnant if not emptied and refilled on a regular basis

Lasted less than 8 months

This was a very practical base and worked great till we saw it leaking and umbrella falling with wind, as there wasn't enough water to keep it stable. Noticed several holes in less than a year and would need a replacement soon. I didnt know it would last this short. Disappointed!

Pros
  • Easy set up
Cons
  • The steel pole may become hot to the touch in direct sunlight

Big but sturdy in my review

It’s a little bulky but serves it’s purpose. Also my table is really small here so that makes it look extra bulky. Just giving perspective so that everyone knows that it’s definitely not a one size fits all. Check your measurements and order any base based on table style.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • Some users may still find the umbrella to be unstable, even with the added weight of the base

Love umbrella base but . .

Love this umbrella base. BUT 3 items were missing from the package. I'd have been happy to receive the 3 items but there is no way to say this in ebay's system so I opted for replacement. Pick up/delivery were quick but still 1 item missing. Please help me! Don't want to return!

Pros
  • Easy to assemble and fill with water. No rusting parts yo deal eith
Cons
  • The base may be difficult to store during the off-season

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible workmanship.

Save yourself aggravation. Screw to hold the umbrella pole to the base was too difficult to even start. Using pliers I get it started and now won’t tighten to hold the umbrella pole. Useless. A simple product should work more smoothly. Apparently no quality control. It’s in the garbage now. Have to buy at Home Depot. Disappointed.

Pros
  • Worked well for my beach umbrella and customer service was very helpful when one piece was missing.
Cons
  • Water fill

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Unstable in the wind

The stand, filled with water lacks rigidity. It rocks back and forth because it is just a water-filled bladder. There is no internal bracing. When the wind comes up the whole thing just falls over. This happens even though additional weight is put on top of the bladder and the umbrella is folded down. Terrible design. Recommend that sand be used instead of water.

Pros
  • Sand instead of water is the way to go.
Cons
  • Rusted within 1 month

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not heavy enough to hold up umbrella

Filled the stand with water but that was not enough to hold the umbrella when a little wind hit. Stand flew over and umbrella broke.

Pros
  • ⛱EASY STORAGE: Simply remove the steel tube for a slim design that lets you store the outside market table umbrella stand in compact space during the winter and other times of non-use Simply remove the steel tube for a slim design that lets you store the weighted outdoor patio umbrella base in compact space during the winter and other times of non-use. Rough attachment for compatible outdoor patio umbrellas(search: B07NRRX84Y or B07RJ9WGCD)
Cons
  • The water may become cloudy or discolored over time

Revainrating 4 out of 5

BETTER THAN CONCRETE

MUCH EASIER TO HANDLE THAN HEAVY METAL OR CONCRETE BASES; ONLY PROBLEM WAS CRACK THAT DEVELOPED IN BOTTOM AFTER 6 MONTHS; BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE!

Pros
  • Will hold umbrella no problem
Cons
  • It may take more effort to fill the base with water, especially for those with limited mobility or strength

parts mussing for my opinion

Parts missing. I have another one. It's perfect. I need a set of parts for this one and have been too busy to request them! Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Patio Furniture & Accessories
Cons
  • The added weight of the base may cause additional wear and tear on the umbrella itself over time

Matching quilts best in my review

I gave this quilt set in queen and initially the twin was unavailable. Now that it’s back in stock and delivered I have a matching set. Great shore house look, and acceptable for boys as well girls.

Pros
  • Does the job.
Cons
  • Rusted, not stable, junk.
