Useless for a tilting umbrella

There is no way to keep the umbrella from swivelling around in the base. The whole setup did not seem very stable. The post that supports the umbrella is very short compared to others I have had. I would not recommend for a tilting umbrella as the wind can catch it and move it around which kind of defeats the purpose of having the tilting ability.

Pros

Works well for our 7.5 foot free-standing umbrella.

Cons

It may not fit all types of patio umbrellas or poles
