I have problems with glasses slipping and I don't like glasses with wire nose pads because I don't like how they get caught in my hair when I wear them over my head for a minute. I bought it to see if it would solve the problem of the glasses slipping off my nose. They were easy to put on and fit well, but what I don't like are the "steps" on the nose pads. I am sensitive to fabrics and materials so they are not the most pleasant for my nose. I could see that caterpillars can be helpful when you are in a situation that makes you sweat. They'll likely hold up well and likely add some breathability. I will try soft silicones to see if they feel better and stay like this one. I labeled them tread and comfort. They're not very uncomfortable, but I don't find them soft and comfortable for prolonged wear, and they leave a little more marks on my nose.
