Not worth the hassle

So I bought this product to hang my clothes and give me a few inches of headroom over my dresser. The rod itself is good which is why I am giving it two stars but this product has a few issues. First, as other reviews have noted, once the pieces of pipe are fully assembled, all of the ends you need to screw into the wall are pointing in different directions. I have attached an image. To get all the plates in the same position you have to remove some parts completely and leave others only 3/4 screwed in - it's like all the parts don't fit together properly. During assembly I had black paint chips everywhere. There are no instructions just a picture which is useless as assembly isn't necessarily very intuitive and is complicated by mismatched parts. Also, it's a 2D photo, so it's really hard to understand since the pole is sticking out a few inches from the wall. If you're really trying to get this to work like I did, be aware that you'll need different hardware than what they provide. Eventually I successfully installed the rod, but after hanging a few clothes it started falling out of the wall. I ended up trying several editing tactics that cost over a hundred dollars and wasted eight hours before giving up and returning it because it wasn't powerful enough to do what it was supposed to. Trying to get it to work was pointless and therefore not worth the hassle, I would not recommend this product at all. If you or someone you know is smart, buy the pipe pieces yourself and spend half the money. Very disappointed that I spent the rest of the day filling and painting over all the holes in the wall.
