From the start they were great, beautiful and heavy and looked very nice. I was perfectly happy and collecting photos for verification when I noticed that they were already rusting. The bike has been wet once since I installed them a month ago. I washed the bike once and it has been dry ever since. I think an item intended to be exposed to these elements should NEVER EVER rust like this, especially after a single wash. Needless to say, I am currently looking for a replacement. When you get them they might be fine as long as you apply some sort of clear coat to protect the metal after installation.
