Review on πŸ’„ Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick - Longwear Soft Lip Color with Vitamin E, Supermodel (045) by Jessica Brown

I highly recommend it.

When Revlon discontinued its Liquid Lipstick line in 2002 and its original Colorstay line in 2003, I dropped drugstore brands and went to department stores. From 2004 to 2010 I used expensive lipstick. MAC was my favorite when they were $16 a tube. From time to time I would spend $18-$22 a tube on Stila, Clinique, or Estee Lauder. Then Revlon came out with a new line of Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipsticks and I bought one of each color and never went back to MAC again. They then released the Ultimate Suede lipstick line. I like lipsticks that don't shimmer. I'm not a fan of the ultra matte look that most brands are promoting so I'm sticking with these because they have a satin finish. I like MOST of the colors in the Ultimate Suede line. When I bought them in 2018, I went a little crazy on National Lipstick Day (that was my excuse, don't judge for yourself. I bought them all cheaper than Walmart sells them) and bought one of almost every color. I'm not joking. I have 10 or 12 of these. I like that they don't fade after curing. I like that they feel comfortable and don't dry out. I like that they are almost full opacity, but some shades are more transparent than full opacity. In general I like them. I know there are people who really hate this line and this ending, but Revlon, listen to me guys. I should be your PR person for this line and Ultimate Liquid Lipstick because I live and breathe this line and wear it EVERY DAY. And please bring back your original Colorstay formulas from the late 90's and early 2000's. I miss Moccachino and Fruit Punch and your original nude colors.
