STOP WORKING in Computers and accessories

About a year later, the hard drive stopped working. I suspect something is wrong with the USB port but no one has replied to me, the serial number has been completely erased so now there is a way to get help from the company itself and I'm stuck with $300. piece of trash.

After almost two years it NEVER works!

After almost 2 years of buying I still can't use it because it's impossible to FORMAT it for use in Windows 10 😡 I've spoken to Glyph support , but the instructions they gave me NEVER worked! Why would anyone make something that is so difficult to use?

  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
  • There are cons

Outstanding performance in a portable package

In a word, outstanding. In terms of performance, streaming large sample libraries for music and video production is the only way. Extremely reliable despite having been messing around in my carry-on for the past year or more, and performance is almost on par with my internal MacBook Pro SSD. For the price, this is excellent for what you can get in such a small, portable package. Highly recommended.

Losing indexes, disconnecting from your computer, what's not to hate?

I'm a digital artist so I upload and download a lot of data from a drive like this and one of the things I noticed early on was that it wasn't properly indexed and although the program, I used could see the files, Windows couldn't. Then I noticed that although both connections are strong, the laptop I'm using keeps dropping connection making it completely unreliable and very frustrating. I will try to return.

Fast, small and durable.

I mainly use this as Odrive cache for my current multimedia and data projects. Although expensive, this odrive + raid glyph solution solved most of the data problems. Also, I often run Windows 10 or Debian VMs from this GIS disk. The device almost does not heat up. It seems that this product has been thought through so carefully that it has become a transparent part of my work; He never gets in my way and always does what I need (and on time! It's FAST!)

Great ride - and great delivery!

Great disc for use with MacBook Pro (2016/2017). You'll benefit the most from the 2017 model (thanks to the updated Kaby Lake architecture, which integrates USB 3/Thunderbolt directly into the main chipset). Very easy to use - unpack and plug in (preformatted for Mac). Performance is as expected - I get 770MB/s reading and 870MB/s writing (note that the 2017 internal drive is insane - almost three times faster). So if you want sheer speed and storage for 4K video production, spend $1,500…

Bought the 2TB version during the Black Friday sale for $429 which is a STEAL considering the price was 800 a few months ago US dollars (now US$629). First, let me say this SSD is BLAZING FAST. I'm using it with a 2016 15" MacBook Pro. I get 833MB/s on Write and 880MB/s on READ with the Black Magic Disk speed test. it, and it took 52 seconds. Do the math backwards...45GB/ 52 seconds is 0.865 (GB/s), which makes sense because it's 865 (MB/s), which is even faster than the 833 (MB/s) write speed…

Glyph Tech is an amazing group of people with great values. I had a small problem reformatting a Glyph Atom 1GB for my Microsoft SurfacePro. I called Glyph (it was Friday office hours). I have a person within 3 minutes. Plus he knew what he was talking about and resolved my issue in 5 minutes, waited until I was satisfied everything was cool and exceptionally competent and pleasant. It's amazing that nowadays it's possible to call the helpdesk and get something more than a robot or an offshore…

The absolute fastest on the market

This disc is amazing. It's currently the fastest portable SSD money can buy. To get the full benefit, you must be using a computer with enough bus bandwidth to push the drive to its limit. Right now the only thing that can get full speed with this drive is my MacBook Pro. Just to give people an idea of how fast this drive is. I did a full backup of my MacBook Pro to this 750GB drive in just 20 minutes. The drive did get warm during this time, but I wouldn't say it was as hot as some of the…
