I've been using cheap blenders for years but finally decided to upgrade. After reading the reviews I decided this was the blender I would try. This is definitely a full-size blender, so keep that in mind when purchasing. For this you need storage space or sufficient storage space. That is amazing. I used it to make energy ball oatmeal and my oatmeal was pulverized in about 3 seconds. It's also great for smoothies and that was the main purpose I bought it for. With the right balance of solids and liquids in the jar, you'll have the perfect smoothie in less than 20 seconds. I mostly use frozen fruit and veg and haven't tried things like tough leafy greens or apples, but I think if you chop the pieces fine enough the blender will have no problem pureeing them! I haven't tried making nut butter with it either, but then again, I don't see much of a problem with it! It's also easy to clean. Overall I am very impressed with this purchase and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality blender at a great price.
