I got this because I needed a frame nailer and it looked pretty much like your regular Hitachi nailer that probably every other carpenter on every job site has seen. But I wasn't willing to pay over $300 for one this time either. When I received it, I quickly realized that this nailer has its own feel and is assembled differently. But it works fine. The construction looks solid. It's a good weight but not too heavy. The nail chute lock was initially stiff, but I lubricated it very well with the gun lube that came with it and it's been fine ever since.
