Review on 📷 Pentax K-5 II 16.3 MP DSLR Body Only (Black): Unparalleled Performance in an Old Model by Kimberly Jackson

I've been an avid photographer most of my life, but I've had no luck with a point-and-shoot digital camera with lower quality batteries. After a lot of research I decided on the Pentax K5ii and am very happy with this decision. For someone like me who likes to be in control of the picture and my wife who likes to aim and shoot and get good results, the K5ii is a very good medium. The green auto at 50mm f1.8 takes photos in almost any light and with autofocus, so you don't drive anyone crazy while the camera struggles to find a good focus point, after which the image is lost. Our last Nikon had this problem and my wife stopped using it as a result. This camera is powerful yet very easy to use. Here are the benefits as I see them: Excellent color reproduction. Looks like nice KodaColor slides from a medium format camera from a 70's studio. Excellent battery life. Almost 1000 shots on a single charge. Wonderful! - Natural low-light shots with very fast and precise autofocus. Enables shots you would miss with any other camera - Fast automatic recording on demand (up to 7 frames per second) - Can be used as a camcorder for family moments - Huge range of lenses including limited edition. Uses all Pentax lenses from my 70's camera. Relatively small size for a high quality DSLR. Perfect for a beginner hobbyist with wife/husband who is having technical difficulties. (Hope my wife isn't reading this!) Cons: - It's still more than point and shoot, but you get what you pay for - 16MP resolution will probably be too low for any "professional" uses , but I can fit over 1000 images on a 32GB card - advertised as a "metal-rugged" device. It still feels very plasticky to me, but that's probably just personal preference. All in all a wonderful device that I hope to use for many years to come. - No flash required. The camera takes good pictures in low light.
