Tip: use a drill. You really need it if you want to make sure it's durable. The instructions are a little misleading, but we were able to put it together in about 30 minutes. We put it in the basement so she can go crazy without destroying the house. We've had a lot of issues with their scratches on chairs and sofas and this seems to have fixed the issue. It's big enough for her to climb and jump. She loves mice and rope, so she plays with them when she wants to release her energy and then uses little hiding spots to take a nap. She loves to play with our dogs but was always looking for a place to hide from them when she wanted to take a nap and it scared us because we couldn't find her. The cat tower has been a blessing as it keeps her active but also gives her a great place to sleep. It's sturdy and you can't beat the price for such a large kitty apartment.
