Benefits: - 164ft of braided jute twine ○ 16 individual strands ○ 5mm thick ○ 100% jute fiber ○ Soft and easy to use c ○ Can be cut to length Cons: - Terrible smell - Feels like it's been treated with something - Not that "soft" I ordered this burlap to wrap up our poles on our scratching post...but The smell that comes from this one rope is very touching. I'm not sure if I want to use it on my cats as I'm concerned they might get sick from it. I'll leave it outside for a while and see if the smell goes away at all. But on the other hand, something else bothers me - the feeling that there is some substance on the rope. Not sure if I will use it for our scratching post. After that has been said. I'm sure we can find other uses for this rope.
