Review on Necoichi Cat Scratcher Bowl with Cozy Design by Laura Bobzien

There are a couple of things that are really good about it - the fact that you can swap out the inner liner of the bowl is the best part. I was a bit disappointed that the optics weren't more attractive and a bit more robust. Reading the description more closely, I see that it doesn't say it has a wood veneer exterior, but I thought it had a bamboo veneer. Instead it's just a wood grain pattern pasted onto thick card stock and the edge is smudged and scuffed looking a lot cheaper and fake than the pictures. I was happy to pay $30 for a durable wooden shell with replaceable liners, but less than that much for something that is far more easily damaged and more likely to need replacing. I'm saving it for a Christmas present, so I haven't given it to my boyfriend yet, but I'm sure he doesn't care, he'll love it anyway!
