The "spline bead " is too wide for McMaster profiles.

Good product, good price. The nuts work well and the threads are not loose. However, I have found that the "bulge" that needs to go into the extrusion slot and align the nut is too wide for the McMaster Carr profiles I usually use. Annoying but not a serious problem unless fasteners are tightened to high torque which can damage the inside of the tread and/or warp the tread. I don't know if this is just a problem with McMaster Carr extrusion nuts or with these nuts, but I haven't had this problem with any other nuts I've bought.

Includes 20 pcs Spring Ball T-Nuts, they have clean threads and can be installed directly into the aluminum hole at any point of assembly, making your job easier.
