I ordered this comb because I wanted to make sure I had a seamless comb that wouldn't snag on my hair. This comb is strong, not cheap and doesn't get tangled in my hair. I think this comb is suitable for every hair type. However, please note that I have coarse, thin, chemically weakened hair. My hair has been thinning because I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and have been taking medication to control my symptoms. Although I no longer take these medications, my hair has not grown back in the five years since I stopped taking the medication. This comb has no sharp teeth or edges. I don't get headaches combing my hair with it. It is easy to clean and durable. I would recommend and buy again.
