Item description and instructions are inaccurate.
The product is well made, but I'm giving it three stars because the instructions say each flange is 1/4 inch thick. So subtract a little over 1/2 inch from the measurement of the distance the rod runs through. to get the right length to cut the rod. The flanges are actually 1/8" thick, so if you follow the directions, the stem will be shorter than needed for a good fit, resulting in a slack fit. A more serious issue is that the item description states and shows in one of the pictures that the flanges have set screws to hold the rod firmly in the flanges. The flanges I received do not have set screws. This will also loosen the rod fit.
