** After initiating an RMA with Gigabyte support, I was approved and sent the unit back. Apparently their servers were attacked by a cyber attack and lost ALL the information that I am returning the hard drive. They say they can't help me anymore. Revan refuses to help. My drive is gone, my money is gone. DO NOT BUY THIS DISC OR MAKE IT WITH GIGABYTE. You will lose your money. Original **After 2 months of great and fast performance, I found my computer in BIOS screen. It could not recognize the drive. I removed the drive and tried it on another computer. Vain. Installed another M.2 on my computer and it worked great. As with the other review (which I thought was an isolated one) it was a total failure after 2 months. Unacceptable. Luckily I have a business account with Gigabyte so the RMA was pretty easy to initiate. You will still have to pay for return shipping and wait up to 2 weeks for a replacement. I love gigabyte motherboards. I've built literally hundreds of cars with it. This was the first gigabyte drive I used. I stay away in the future.
