They look bigger in the pictures but are actually great bowls!

If you're expecting huge pho shells, keep looking. They hold 32 ounces (I measured) and I wanted something to replace my plates when eating on the couch. The glaze seems even and they wash well. They are light enough to be carried in one hand and stand up to repeated use in the microwave. I don't think I have unusually large hands for a guy, but the photos should give some sort of scale. I am very happy with my purchase as these are my everyday bowls I use to reheat leftovers and I love the high sides.

Pros

More than just a bowl of soup. With the right depth and diameter dimensions, you can also use it as a salad bowl for noodles, a serving bowl for soup or stew, a ramen bowl for pho or noodles. Ideal for a small family, a small group of friends or a restaurant.
