I've been using the Sony Core series in home theater for several years, mostly satisfied, especially for the money. I happened to see this DefTech center for sale and decided to give it away. This center's ability to expand the soundscape from mids to highs is remarkable. It plays very well with the rest of my system. Where I used to hear crystal clear mids, that mid adds a certain "thump" to the sound cutting through the air. Where I previously relied on a high-end Rhythmik subwoofer for punch, I can now even "feel" a Netflix chime thanks to this hub. what can you expect DefTech continues to lead the way in what a good, affordable midrange speaker can sound like.
