Need improvement! suitable for dogs

Two of my kittens ate this food and vomited it all up. I buy meat mates, also from New Zealand, and it's a thumbs up. This food crumbles very easily (I don't think mixing chicken with salmon helps). Now I mix crumbs with canned street cat food. The ingredients look good, but the taste needs improvement. I don't think cats eat green lipped mussels either...
