Review on 🧥 Stay Warm and Stylish with Alpine North Women's Winter Jacket at Coats, Jackets & Vests by Samantha Pollard

I needed a slightly longer, WARM winter coat and that's exactly what I wanted! I ordered the color 'Grape' which is actually more of an aubergine/maroon colour. Definitely not purple. So in my opinion the color on the internet matches the color in real life. The length of the coat is down to my knees and just below the kneecaps and I'm 5ft 4in so it definitely goes past my butt but not to my shins. This coat is heavy and looks absolutely like real down, but is therefore vegan friendly. It contains no goose feathers and feels very warm and insulated. The hood is large, lined with fur and adjustable with a bungee button. It also has function buttons if you want to minimize the fur lining covering the face and I have found the coat to be quite roomy. There are also adjustable bungee cord buttons at the waist and the zipper on the coat is quite strong. I have Ordered 3x and found the coat true to size. I'm a bit fatter in the stomach, I have hips and a butt and I didn't want anything tight or feel like I was "fighting" which I thought would happen with 2x. For reference I have a Land's End coat in 2x that fits great but isn't as long or as warm. Your measurements tend towards size 22/24, so order 3x. If your coats are mainly 18/20 and don't have a big belly or hips, order 2x. This coat also has MEGA pockets all over it! 2 inside, 4 outside, plus 1 on the shoulder and a hidden zip pocket near the cuff. The sleeves have sweater-like elastic cuffs with thumb holes! I think it's great! The coat also states that it's waterproof and windproof with reflective piping so cars can see you at night which is another great feature. The ONLY complaints about this coat are that the hood isn't detachable and the zip isn't a two-way zip, but there are buttons that run the length of the coat.
