I've been looking for a small coffee table with a modern/minimalist design for a long time and decided on this one because it was offered at a great price. Overall this is a well designed and solid table for the money and one of the few solid wood options. I ended up polishing it and painting it dark blue to give it a more expensive look. The ending isn't quite what I expected. The legs have a nice smooth finish, but flat surfaces aren't what most people expect. I was planning on sanding and painting them so I didn't care, but the flat surfaces are very rough and more appropriate for a barn than someone's home. All in all a great item, especially if you are planning on repainting.
