It was folded in four and had very deep creases.
Left it stretched overnight but the creases didn't smooth out at all. Someone answered my question about what to do and suggested ironing from the wrong side (canvas). I use a press cloth and spend 15-20 minutes re-wetting the press cloth and going through it over and over again. First I tried ironing without fabric but it made no difference. The wrinkles have loosened up a bit but are still visible. I wouldn't give it as a gift or hang it on the wall. I am extremely disappointed.
