I love how well this product works! I've tried this with my dry beard and also in the shower. Both work very well and make my beard pain free and easy to style. I have cedar, it doesn't really smell like wood unless you let it sit for a while, then notes of juniper and pine join in. The main smell seems to be menthol, or at least that's what I pretty much smell like when I first apply it. It's a bit of a nightmare if you use it in the shower without letting it dry a bit first. The smell mixes with the vapor and makes it difficult to breathe – almost like the smell of a hot vaporizer. Maybe mint will be better next time - although I'm curious how the original cedar smelled for comparison.
