I have bought a lot of different magna doodles over the years for my 5 kids, and this set is fantastic. The stampers are magnetic which is by far a HUGE plus. My kids would constantly lose the stampers in other ones, or they would always fall out. The stickers that come with it allow for some fun personalization (name, etc) which is so simple but so fun. The pen is shaped so well, it sounds dumb but this particular bubbly shape makes it so nice and comfortable for all different size fingers. There are 4 different colors embedded so as you draw or write the different colors become visible. We have an older magna doodle like that and it’s fun. The fact that this comes with the travel size as well is such a plus. The smaller kids can easily use that one and it’s a fun size for everyone really. I like the feel of this one, the handle is also nice. The shape is nice. Everything about this set is super. The actual board is the same though as all my other magna doodles. You really have to swipe back and forth quite a few times to really "erase” the writing and I can see that over time this will end up similar to the other magna doodles and not fully erase so that’s one negative thing. They don’t make these boards like they used to. But, for the price and quality of this one, it is my favorite.
