It worked in a pinch, but it didn't work completely.
I bought this live kit and wanted an extra screen output for monitoring. In fact HDMI to CAT6 worked fine but I could never get the monitor to find the signal source. I ended up sending it back for a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement had the same problem. After testing at a store using different brands of monitors, connectors and cables, it was determined that the output connector on both devices was faulty.
