I do SFX makeup as a hobby and semi-professional (mostly around Halloween) and this palette makes a great base. You can mix colors to get pretty much any color you want, which is very helpful when working with specific shades (Example: I made Gamora from GOTG and it's a specific shade of green, but it was very easy to mix). All you need is water to work with them. Some tips are that it lasts a long time after drying, I even slept with it and it didn't come off, BUT if you wear it where there might be water like when it's raining or whatever, be careful because the water will wash away or at least smear it. The less water you use the more opaque the color will be and the more water you use the lighter it will be. It all depends on the look you're going for, but remember, a little can go a long way. If you mess up, you can either wipe it off with water on a paper towel or cotton swab, or if it's a small area. or something I just waited for it to dry and then painted over it. You can paint over pretty much any color with any other color and that will be fine. So work in shifts! And above all have fun! This is a great package for beginners and very easy to work with. It even comes with a very good brush!
