I used to work in exotic animal rescue and vitamin drops in filtered water is the ONLY way to keep your small mammals hydrated. (Due to a possible link to cancer, this should probably be the only way to drink) but with rats, the animals I chose for this product, it's a MUST. For price, peace of mind, ease of use, storage, overall product. etc. this product is unbeatable. I use 2-3 drops of these concentrated vitamin supplements in distilled water ($2 a gallon at any store and lasts a month) on my rats (can and should be used on any small animal as well). I keep several water bottles in my cage so I don't have to fill them up often, but even when I do it only takes a minute. I highly recommend washing the bottle and spout as residual drips can remain if you tend to use it too frequently like I do. This is incredibly beneficial to their diet - ESPECIALLY - if you don't often add fresh fruits and vegetables or use lab blocks. I really, really, really recommend using Vita Drops. I will reorder them when they run out in a few months.
