Practical yet amazingly functional, perfect for *most* types of earrings

To be honest I'm impressed. For an inexpensive, simple plastic item, this earring holder is fantastic! I wear studs, haggis, and hoop earrings, almost all the smaller varieties, so finding an inexpensive earring holder was harder than I expected. The more ornamental "trees" are pretty but hold little to nothing. Many of the metal holders look tacky, aren't available in the finishes I prefer, or are made for other pieces of jewelry I don't have. And solid and mesh are great for spikes, but not tires and haggis. I had no idea when I first started shopping how few options there were for what I needed! In the end I settled on a choice between this Darice acrylic earring display and the Mango Steam Jewelry Dangling Earring Organizer and ultimately chose Darice due to the incredibly low price. This earring holder is only plastic but it is designed to hold many earrings, they are easy to assemble and they are simple but very functional. Each of the five rods has two rows of 24 diameter holes. You can layer small bobby pins or French hooks, or use just one row for hoops and hyaggi. And if your earrings are larger and covering a few holes, you can easily space them a little further apart. As it holds 120 pairs of earrings, those who only use one hole in each place for hoop earrings can get 60 pairs of earrings on this item if you use each hole. The only downside I found was the big tires. The largest pair I have (I didn't realize they were that big when I ordered them) are actually longer than the row spacing. Since my mount is set back a bit and these tires are too long they actually hang behind partially, but when they are bigger they just don't fit at all. It consists of only three parts - two "legs" and a board on which all earrings are held. You can use any of the three pairs of slots in the legs to tilt the board backwards (like I did), tilt it forwards (why would anyone do that?), or stand perfectly upright. And the whole thing is pretty flat so it doesn't take up much space - perfect for someone like me with a tiny bathroom and there really isn't any other place to stash it. You have a bunch of exceptionally heavy earrings, the studs can bend under the weight, or they can get very heavy and fall over, but if you're like me with studs and lightweight hoop earrings or even large earrings that aren't very heavy, it should you are fine Sure, it's not one of the heaviest decorative coasters out there, and it looks more practical than pretty, but for the simple task of storing earrings, it does a great job. I spent a lot of time checking each earring. The owner is on Revain but I switched back to it and couldn't be happier with it.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
