A while ago my husband used a facial razor that vibrated. It was a standard razor that used disposable cartridges (Mach 3 cartridges to be exact) but it was battery operated and vibrated. He has a tricky thick growth of beard and it really worked for him. As anyone who has used a razor like this knows, they kind of disappeared. Such a razor was called "Power Something", it's still called that, but no longer needs a battery and doesn't vibrate. Now I search Amazon for a vibrating replacement several times a year. I was about to buy one for triple the price when I saw the Schick Hydro 5. I think razors are subjective, what works for one person may not work for another. So I'm considering a quality that's great for the price. And the price compared to other similar vibrating facial razors. It was a great price! It was an easy decision to take it up. If you're looking for a vibrating shaver with easy-to-access replacement heads, try this one. Good luck - Aunt Lisa
