My Purchase: Size 10 My Experience: I am a plus size person so my foot can be *larger* on top than non-plus sizes. I usually wear a 9.5/10 depending on the shoe manufacturer. I've worn these shoes on several river trips in Texas and to a 50 acre water park. For those unfamiliar with either experience, you will face a lot of walking, sharp rocks on the river, potential loss of shoes due to the natural course of the river, or huge waves at the water park. The shoes fit my foot perfectly. The shoe straps stayed tight throughout the walk (although waterproof). Chlorine did not change the color of the ribbons. The BIGGEST benefit of these boots for me is that they don't chafe or blister wet or dry. I never felt the shoes fall off even when thrown over rapids or park rides. The sole of the shoe is nice and thick. Walking on rocks and eventual glass didn't bother me as much as wearing thinner slippers. I would recommend them to anyone looking for sandals that aren't afraid of water.
