I would say they are too uniform to be hand made unless the tool operator presses the button one at a time. Acetate isn't too expensive so I'm wondering why theses cost so much. I can buy a regular plastic comb for under a dollar, and I've seen standalone combs almost as good looking in dollar stores. I think they should be about half the price. They went through my hair easily which is good. Wet after a shower, they didn't pull or bind like some of the metal or plastic combs I've used. A mild recommendation to go strong if they sell at a good price.
