I was really surprised how big the difference between these lamps is. One of the big differences between new fridges and old ones is how much lighter the new ones are on the inside. My refrigerator had two standard lightbulbs. , plus one in the freezer. After replacing them with these LED daylight bulbs, the entire inside of the fridge came alive! (I know it sounds cheesy, but it's true! And no, I didn't have *that* old stuff in there!) Dark corners were lit. And the color of the fluorescent lightbulb just brightened everything up. Even the single bulb in the freezer, now tinted daylight instead of light yellow, made it easier to see. Even now, six months later, I still think I have a new fridge when I open the door. And compared to the thousands of dollars that new fridge freezers cost, I'm very, very happy! And if I save a few cents a year by using an LED bulb instead of an incandescent bulb, it's cents in my pocket, not electrical companies! Also, light bulbs need to be replaced every few years. LED bulbs will probably outlive me!
