I've had my nails done sporadically for years, but have had them on and off for the last 5 years. I took a break from using gel polishes about 2 years ago and started using KISS Powder Dip sets and then buffing them with regular nail polish. I recently decided to go back to gel, but I wanted a new lamp and varnishes. In the end, I chose this brand because it got a surprising amount of good reviews. I ordered the kit on Saturday and it arrived today (Monday 9th September). I got my nails done and I have to say I'm VERY impressed! The consistency of the polish I used (pictured) and the top is very nice; Not too thick and not thin, very easy to work with. The smell is reduced to a minimum! The package came along with clear instructions and I really like that the lamp has a 24w or 48w option. I set it to 24 watts as I cure each layer and 48 watts as I cure the top layer (60 second cure time). The top coat has a strange smell, but it's not strong and you don't feel it on your nails after drying. The non-staining top coat is a nice bonus too! I didn't use a base coat, I used ASP strippable base coat as a base coat. What I really like are the plastic or silicone toe separators, they are washable and reusable! I'll have to come back to give an update on whether they're holding up well, but I would definitely recommend just this set and the polishes. I will definitely buy more colors!
