Review on Hunter 99162 White Linen 🏺 Bowl Glass: Elegant Illumination and Versatile Style by Ashley Nelson

Was looking for a replacement for my Hampton Bay ceiling fan's light bowl as the original is a brown color that emits a brown-orange light. Hampton Bay only makes these. I've tried it and it mostly works. The return was the feature that made me choose this seller as the listing is problematic. The bowl turns out to be gray rather than white and the linen stripes aren't as attractive (see photo) but I'm not looking directly at it and the light is brighter and whiter than the original bowl. Also the fit is not perfect and not the same as the opening is wide and slips a bit when fitted but the pommel keeps it in place. The listing does not show the knob but there is a second hole for the fan chain. I did the installation myself, but it was inconvenient to hold the bowl with one hand and run the fan circuit through the hole with the other hand. It would certainly be easier with a second pair of hands. It's wide enough for the 60 watt flame type candelabra bulbs as well as the 40 watt LED bulbs that I recently got from my electrical company.
