My wife calls them troll shoes and I just don't care what she thinks of them. She used to call them "Hobbit Shoes", but after correcting them a dozen times about hobbits not wearing shoes, she decided to call them "Troll Shoes". They are very comfortable and slide without any confusing foot manipulation. After a month of modest breaking in, I expect to be able to jump and bounce in these shoes while running. They will most likely be the fastest part of my superhero costume. The only downside I have with these shoes is that they creak on linoleum floors so it takes a bit of effort to sneak up on the bad guy at times.
