Okay, funny story. While trimming my bikini line, I dropped the trimmer down the toilet and, like a mannequin, immediately flushed the toilet. Why?!? So my trimmer went down the toilet. the engine hums all the time. The trimmer got stuck in a bend in the toilet pipe and for over 45 minutes the trimmer buzzed in my toilet. The sound echoed off the floor. It was great fun. We took the toilet off the floor, pulled out the trimmer and screwed the toilet back on. This trimmer STILL worked after being submerged in toilet water for almost an hour. Now I haven't used it after that, but the fact that the power continued (and the trimmer motor was still very strong) made the deal that this is the only trimmer I will ever buy. I quickly bought a new one and haven't flushed it down the toilet (yet)! I really like this trimmer.
