Review on TSLA Lightweight Athletic Barefoot Minimalist Men's Shoes for Athletic by Jake Larson

I'm a die-hard user of the Merrel Vapor Glove 3 (VG3). I searched ebay, poshmark and the FB market for another pair of nines. The stock is exhausted. As much as I love these shoes, the durability has been terrible and the price unjustified considering how quickly they wear out. I found these TSLAs a few days ago and they are a very close interpretation (fake?) of the originals - at a greatly reduced price. Fit: Turns out half a size larger. I wear 9 in VG3, Adidas, Asolo, VFF and combat boots. I ordered two pairs of nines from TSLA and returned them because they were too long. Reorder for 8.5 fits perfectly. Otherwise they are very similar to the VG3. [UPDATE: After deciding to order 3 more pairs, I returned all 3. Greatness is everywhere! I ended up with a pair of 8.5's that were 13's (let's assume they were mislabeled), a pair of true 8.5's (too small for me) and a pair of 8.0's. It seems that the quality control of the sizing is pretty low. While I loathe the prospect of wasting resources getting the right pair back and forth, I love my blue pair. Going back to order 9 and hoping something fits.] Sole: They have some stiffness in the outsole and some arch support. I expect this to break but will update if it doesn't. For the record, I can fold my VG3s and these want to fold in half at the center crease near the arch. It feels like the heel is 2mm higher, so it's not a true 0mm drop. Style: The color options are nice. I would like a light green color Longevity: TBD. I will update them after driving them a few miles. Price/Quality: Durability will make a difference but so far they are as good as my VG3….
