I had my doubts because I usually read negative reviews first, but I decided to take a chance. I ordered two sets of these bed risers, they were rated at 1300lbs so I had a lot of wiggle room in terms of load capacity. I'm glad I ordered two sets because it turned out I needed to support the two center legs along with the outer corners. I tried the 5" first but they were too big, the 4" adapters fit perfectly. When I'm standing by the bed, it's only 24 inches off the floor and hits me just above the knees when I sit down. I've been using them since February and they glide effortlessly across my floor when I need to make my bed without wobbling or slipping. They are well built and provide a solid base that will keep your bed at just the right height for a comfortable night's sleep.
