The look of the handle is ok. The details look great. The investment was not large for my application. I took the rubber grommet out of the hole and replaced it with three nuts that fit the threads on the B&M shifter I'm using (1.5" x 20"). The hole in the handle was half the size needed for my application. I drilled a hole for three nuts. Then I screwed the nuts onto the shifter. I then applied a 2 part epoxy to the inside of the knob and to the nuts on the shifter and covered the hole in the top nut with tape to avoid sticking the shifter knob or nuts to the shifter. shifter. I repainted the handle because the color it came with was mottled and orange, not red like I thought it would be. (I used an opaque red paint for the inside of the handle hole to hide the 3 nuts.) This item could have been a little cheaper, especially considering how much work it took to get it right.
